Final show exhibition ideas

Ok so I had this 'vision' if you will, of the final show, granted I was slightly intoxicated. I want a tree, a real tree... the RIGHT tree, and I want birds all over it, and poems carved into the bark, and lights as the stars and a bird cage with the most magnificent pheonix trapped inside of it... So I set out to find a tree. I asked gardeners, rag and bone men, went to the tip, searched the golf course behind my garden... then my very kind grandpa suggested if I liked a tree in his garden, I could have it. I drove to his house and there, in the front garden, was the most perfect tree. Like the tree from my vision. Maybe it was subconsciously in my vision because I knew I could get it? I just have to find a truck... or maybe a lorry, that can transport it to the college.

So anyway I'll have these birds sat on the highest branches looking down on the phoenix. This was meant to be a prototype practise but actually ended up being EXACTLY what I'd hoped. Simple chicken wire, more than likely left as they are, I like the quality of them.

I was having such a good day with all this fortune and having handed in my dissertation early I was well chuffed but then I got to my bumper car and found that the entire exhaust was lying on the floor beneath my car. This SHOULD have dampened my usual hig spirit BUT I remember I got free breakdown cover with my new insurance policy and within the hour they had picked it up and taken it to the garage :)

Then I went for a drink with Barmby from Tigers. Didn't get chance for the cinema but extra time will give me chance to find a bag big enough for all my sweets. I can't just sit and watch a film I have to do something and it's much too dark to do anything (legal) other than eat sweets.

I'm unsure why this has become a full account of my day. It was just a day I'd quite like to remember I guess...
